Latest movies for 2011

The latest movies for this year do not only consist of stories that have been around for a couple of years—like Pirates of the Caribbean: on Stranger Tides or Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2. They are also made up of first time storytelling drama that was never seen before. Even a sequel to the Fast and the Furious franchise has a new approach to the car-chasing action that they even changed the title.

Hall Pass starring Owen Wilson

Yep we will be seeing or hearing—more of Owen Wilson this year. He is not only the voice of the car race superstar Lightning McQueen in Cars 2, but is also the frontman in Hall Pass, a film about two husbands that are itching to get freedom and more romance out of their marriages that their wives decided to give them a hall pass. A hall pass is a week of freedom: you get to do whatever you want without being reprimanded of the consequences.

So Rick, together with his best friend enjoy the privilege and get it on until their wives begin to want what they got.

Cowboys and Aliens starring Daniel Craig and Harrison Ford

Just when we thought Harrison Ford is too old to make movies, we thought wrong. He is former 007 agent James Bond Daniel Craig’s (in Quantum of Solace and Casino Royale) co-star in a new movie produced by the legendary Steven Spielberg Cowboys and Aliens.

In old 1800s, an alien spaceship crashes in the Wild West and plans to take over the whole world. It’s up to consistent rivals to make peace with each other before they lose the ground that they always fight about.

Fast Five starring the cast of the Fast and the Furious plus The Rock

With The Rock as the new addition to the star-studded cast of Fast Five, the movie certifies more action as he clashes with Vin Diesel (Dominic) and his team of highly-skilled car racers. With an ex-cop (Paul Walker) who went on undercover for a long time in Dominic’s group, Hobbs (The Rock) should double the effort and pick up the speed of the investigation to catch the bad guys.
