List of new movie releases for 2011

Here are the new movie releases for this year and they are:

Hanna starring Cate Blanchett and Eric Bana

Hottie Eric Bana (Erik) trains her 16-year old daughter Hanna to be the best killer for Marissa (Cate Blanchett) who is currently a top performer in an intelligence agency. When Erik was tracked by Marissa to be located somewhere in the woods where the father and daughter resides, her team finds that the house is empty of a father, but still they discover his daughter, alone and crying.

Like any other intelligence agency, Marissa’s team got the child and being the daughter of a rogue asset, she was locked up in a secure facility. The action starts when Hanna asks for Marissa yet Marissa sends a fake one. Hanna assassinates her and escapes—just like she and her father planned.

There be Dragons starring Charlie Cox, Wes Bentley and Dougray Scott

There be Dragons is a phenomenal drama that should be required to watch by everyone who always desires to have a drop of conspiracy in the movies that they watch. Charlie Cox (Josemaria) plays a very different role compared to the film Stardust, the one he was first famous for. This time, he portrays a young priest that is trying to make things right—out of the grounds where he does not belong—in the streets of politics.

Josemaria’s best friend’s son, many years after the Spanish Civil War, investigates his canonization. Robert (Dougray Scott) is a journalist who tries to get into the details of Josemaria’s death and soon discovers that his investigation gives small pebbles that lead to his father. Robert discovers the relationship of his father and the soon to be saint, and finds out that at any time, forgiveness never fades.

Immortals starring Henry Cavill and Kelan Lutz

Immortals is Hollywood’s own rendition of the Greek Mythology classic of the story of Theseus. After Clash of the Titans, producers once again try their brilliance in creating another timeless tale so that the story could still live on from generation to generation. Now that we are living in a world of 3D, there sure are astonishing visual effects.

Stardust’s Humphrey (Henry Cavill) take the lead as he plays Theseus, and is accompanied by one of Twilight Saga’s star vampires,  Kelan Lutz as Poseidon.
